Cape Cod Bears

Cape Cod Bears was founded in 1998 on Cape Cod, Massachusetts by Pat Pajor.

A life-style change and relocation to the Cape led Pat to fulfill her dream of having her own business. Her past corporate business experience led Pat to research and discover the world of Teddy Bears, which fit remarkably well into her fondness for crafts and designing. After meeting and talking extensively with talented teddy bear artists, Pat received encouragement and support to follow this endeavor.

Pat quickly discovered her talent for this exciting craft and began participating in teddy bear shows throughout the Northeast. Anxious to share this experience with others, Pat also began offering teddy bear classes at her store. Helping students to make their own bears continues to be a great source of pleasure. The uniqueness and individuality of each bear has kept the momentum going.

Trying her hand at heirloom fur bears brought Pat a whole new experience. Sharing heartfelt stories from families adds special significance to a completed bear. This continues to be one of her favorite undertakings.

In 1998, Pat marketed her first manufactured bear on Cape Cod. "CC" Bear, her design, is the first edition of Cape Cod Bears™ Beach' Um Bears™ series.

In 1999 "Sadie" Bear was introduced, and "Skipper" Bear followed in 2000. These affordable, limited-edition bears of 4000 pieces are finding homes in places Pat says she can only hope to visit.

Pat's storefront offers the largest selection of Teddy Bears on Cape Cod, as she also carries many major lines of teddy bears, in addition to Cape Cod's very own Cape Cod Bears.
